I just love these lyrics....
Every evening sky, an invitation
To trace the patterned stars
And early in July, a celebration
For freedom that is ours
And I notice You
In children’s games
In those who watch them from the shade
Every drop of sun is full of fun and wonder
You are summer
And even when the trees have just surrendered
To the harvest time
Forfeiting their leaves in late September
And sending us inside
Still I notice You when change begins
And I am braced for colder winds
I will offer thanks for what has been and was to come
You are autumn
And everything in time and under heaven
Finally falls asleep
Wrapped in blankets white, all creation
Shivers underneath
And still I notice you
When branches crack
And in my breath on frosted glass
Even now in death, You open doors for life to enter
You are winter
And everything that’s new has bravely surfaced
Teaching us to breathe
What was frozen through is newly purposed
Turning all things green
So it is with You
And how You make me new
With every season’s change
And so it will be
As You are re-creating me
Summer, autumn, winter, spring

Why...
Why do I bother putting lip gloss on right before I go outside????
Let me give you a picture of what happens from the time I have gotten out of my car to the time I've reach my office building (which is less than 15-20 seconds)....If there is any slight movement in the air, my hair will CLING to my freshly applied lip gloss and I have to peel it away!!! So, I peel my hair off my lips and then within a milli seconds...it's back in the same place. I will go through this process probably 4 times just in that 15-20 seconds.
Guys, be thankful you don't have to wear lip gloss or you don't have long hair!

I love snow!!
This was the view outside my bedroom window this morning...
It reminds me of Pslm 51:7 when David pleads with God "Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow".
Thank you Lord, for making me white as snow.

Hockey Game
A group came down for an Indiana Ice game a couple of weekends ago. Matt was reunited with his "long lost cousin" (see #18 in the green). The croud was pretty low-key as there was a Pacers and Colts game the same evening. There was barely enough people to do the wave and there was no organ....what's that about? How are you to have a good knock-out, drag out fight without the organ??? We really did have a good time though and congrats to Matt for catching his 3rd T-shirt at a sporting event!

Skier takes out camera man
This video was taken when Amy was here for the weekend. I think I may have to turn it into Funniest Home Video...you be the judge!

New Year's Re-cap
This New Year's Eve was a blast (see pictures and videos below)! Thanks Jeannie for opening up your home to the Career Class! I certainly think your party will go down in history as one the Career Class's greatest parties!!
The day started off with Wendy getting her Passat stuck in the mud and it taking 3 girls to get it out (Hoya!)
Once we got Wendy's vehicle out of the mud and it was almost time for the party, Michelle and I took her vehicle to make a Starbucks run...we're getting old and we need a little help staying up after midnight. The guy at Starbucks noticed we had mud and grass stuck everywhere and asked us if we had been muddin'. I said "kind of, but not on purpose".
People started arriving at Jeannie's house around 8PM for the party. The night was filled with laughter, food, dance revolution, euchre, taboo, guitar hero, and Dutch Blitz.
I'm thankful to have been surrounded by some of my closest friends and new friends while ringing in the New Year. Thanks again, Jeannie for opening up your home!
