Weekend in Bloomington

This past weekend I went to see Michelle in Bloomington. We drove over to the Abe Lincoln Museum in Springfield, IL on Saturday. We had a blast taking silly pictures and learning about our country's history. We also enjoyed a "cozy dog" from the Cozy Dog Diner. They are known for their dogs on a stick...I think it was the best corn dog I've ever had!

Probably one of the funniest things that happened this weekend was Michelle wanted to drive on the historical Route 66 which goes through Springfield. Little did we know, Route 66 goes right through Bloomington!!! We didn't even have to leave town to enjoy it!
