Christmas Cantata @ church

Photo Sharing - Video Sharing - Photo Printing - Photo Books

Today we had a our Christmas Cantata at church for those of you who couldn't make it (Frank & Patty). The title of the musical was "All Bow Down". It was such a great reminder of how our Saviour is worthy and deserving of our worship! I appreciated all the hard work the choir members, bell choir, and orchestra sacrificed to help us worship Him!!

Psalm 66:8-9
Praise our God, O peoples,
let the sound of his praise be heard;

he has preserved our lives
and kept our feet from slipping.

This video clip is our church clapping and shouting our thanks & praise to God this past Sunday. It reminded of being in Kenya...and I just had to take video of it!! Our God is so worthy of our praise and adoration. He is amazing, holy, faithful, merciful, unchanging, gracious, ever-present, just, PATIENT, and loving (just to name a few).

trip to OHIO

Matt and I went to stay with his parents over the 4th of July weekend (i know, i know I'm behind on my blogging...better late than never, right?). It was such a joy to be able to spend time with Matt's parents and getting to know them better. They have a real heart for the Lord and they're some of the nicest people you'll ever meet!! I appreciated their hospitality and generosity. I felt like I was at home! We enjoyed taking walks, having picnic lunches, looking at the stars/planets through Matt's telescope, and playing games (Bocce ball and Password). It was pleasure to see where Matt went to school and his mom is a 3rd grade teacher. We took a tour of the FFA building and there were MANY banners listing the competitions Matt won through FFA. Seriously folks, I could not count on my hands how many competitions he won State and Nationally!!! He rocked the house!! It was also fun to see the land Matt's parents own and their farm. I appreciated his dad's love for farming and his country.

Overall, it was a GREAT trip and I hope to visit again soon. BTW, just remember there is a re-match of Bocce ball to be had Frank and Patty!!! You can only have beginners luck for so long (ha ha ha) Thanks again for a great visit!!
